Private: Help Those Affected by Rock Creek Woods Apartments Flood

We have opened the IW Clothing Center to affected families so they can come shop for free for any home goods and clothing items they need. While families/individuals are shopping, we also are working with them to find out if they have other needs, so we can connect them to more resources to respond to those issues.

WAYS YOU CAN HELP

Please consider donating:

New underwear and socks for children of all ages and for adults, diapers, wipes and diaper cream, and/or children’s pajamas.

The IW Clothing Center is at 751 Twinbrook Parkway in Rockville, off Veirs Mill Road. The Center will be open on Friday, 9/3, for donations from 2 – 4 pm. We will be open to accept donations on Saturday (9/4) and again on Sunday (9/5) from 9 am to 12 noon.

Money – we are accepting financial donations to support our programs that help meet the needs of affected families.

You can donate online here.

To mail a check, send it to Development Department, Interfaith Works, 114 West Montgomery Ave., Rockville, MD 20850, with “Rock Creek Flood” in the memo line.

If you have additional questions about how to help, please contact IW’s Miranda Marks, mmarks@iworksmc.org, (240) 728-6489.

THANK YOU to those of you who have already generously donated, and to WUSA Channel 9 for focusing on the needs of our neighbors:
