How We Do Our Work
Across Interfaith Works and at all personnel levels, members of the IW staff and Board reflect the diversity and individuality of the community we serve. The foundation of Interfaith Works rests on the empathetic outlook and environment of compassion fostered by its members. We root our services in the principles of trauma-informed care that allows our clients to be met where they are and pave their own pathway to stability. Along with our guiding principles, we also have many staff and Board members with lived experience similar to the clients we serve. At Interfaith Works there is no otherness between those receiving our services, and those supporting them in our spaces of service. We are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace in all aspects of work and in the creation and maintenance of all programs. Doing so is aligned with our core values.
