Vocational Services Program

IW Vocational Services:

Interfaith Works Vocational Services Program (IW VSP) offers personalized support to low-income individuals and those experiencing homelessness in Montgomery County, helping them achieve greater financial stability through employment assistance and ongoing support.

IW’s VSP bilingual (Spanish and French) vocational counselors serve over 200 clients each year and provide tailored support to help them secure employment. The program also offers retention support services for at least one year following employment. In FY25, the program added a part-time Volunteer Coordinator to integrate volunteers into the program and enhance employment services for clients.

Hire MoCo:

The IW Vocational Services Program has developed a program called Hire MoCo. This program aims to connect companies and business owners to qualified, work-ready candidates, while contributing solutions to the employment gaps in our community. Learn more here!
